(for meatballs)
1 egg
1 (5 oz.) can of evaporated milk
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. chopped fresh onion
1 t. salt
1 t. chili powder
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. black pepper
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

(for sauce)
1 c. ketchup
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped fresh onion
1/4 t. garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all indredients for meatballs. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place in greased cake pan. Bake at 350º uncovered for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 2 minutes stirring frequently.

After meatballs have been baked for the 20 minutes, pour sauce over them and bake for 15 minutes longer.

These meatballs freeze well (without the sauce) and can be used in spaghetti sauces, or other recipes calling for meatballs.
