1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 Tb. chopped green pepper
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup catsup
1 1/2 cups tomato juice
1 cup water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 cup uncooked salad macaroni

Directions:

Cook meat and chopped vegetables until red color is gone from meat. Add liquid, seasonings, and un-cooked macaroni. Place lid on heavy pan and bring to steaming point on high heat. Turn off stove and leave pan for 45 minutes. Do not remove lid during this time.
