½ cup butter (1 stick)
1 medium onion, minced
½ cup minced carrot
4 tablespoon flour
1 quart scalded milk ( 4 cups)
1 ¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon parsley
2 cans cream style corn (16 oz each)
4 to 5 precooked small potatoes

Directions:

In a saucepan, melt butter. Saute onion and carrots until soft but not brown.
Add flour and corn, heat until bubbling.
Stir in milk, salt, pepper and parsley. Bring to a simmer while stirring.
