3/4 lb Sausage Links
1/2 cup Onion, diced
1/3 cup Green Pepper, diced
1 1/2 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 tbsp Flour
1 Deep Dish Pie Crust
1 cup Milk (skim or whole)
1 tbsp Parsley Flakes
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Ground Pepper

Directions:

Cook sausage, drain and slice into circles. Saute onion and green pepper.

In a bowl, combine cheese and flour. Stir in the sausage, onion and green pepper. Spread mixture into the uncooked pie shell.

Mix remaining ingredients and pour into shell.

Bake in a preheated oven at 375º on a cookie sheet for 30 to 40 minutes or until browned and filling is set.

My parents (Kozie & Sonny Miller) were cleaning out the basement freezer. Dad found this recipe in a frozen pie crust. He thought it sounded good so told my Mom he found a recipe for a cheese and sausage "quickie." To this day this is my all time favorite quiche.
