1 C. butter; softened
1 C. sugar
1 C. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 C. flour
21/2 C. rolled oats; (oatmeal)
1/2 tsp.salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 C. semisweet chocolate chips
4 oz.milk chocolate, grated
11/2 C. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º,Measure oats into a blender
or food processor, and then blend to a fine powder. Set aside. In a large bowl cream together butter & sugars. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. In a seperate bowl, mix together the flour,oats, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips, grated chocolate & nuts. Drop by rounded tsps. onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 6-8 minutes in preheated oven. *I do not grate chocolate. I just use 1/2 bag of milk chocolate chips.
