1/2 pkg. bacon
2-3 cans cut green beans
salt and pepper to taste
2 T. butter
2 T. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. minced onions or 1/4-1/2 cup fresh diced very small onions
1 tsp. sugar
1 Cup sour cream
crushed corn flakes
2 T. melted butter
2 cups grated Swiss cheese

cook bacon until crispy and set aside. Add green beans to bacon grease and salt and pepper to taste and cook about one hour. In a sauce pan mix 2 T. butter, flour, salt pepper, onions, sugar and sour cream. Cook until smooth stirring constantly, remove from heat when it starts to bubble, stir in bacon, add beans. pour into greased casserole dish, mix in 2 cups grated Swiss cheese. Add crushed corn flakes that were mixed with 2T. melted butter and bake at 400 for 20 minutes
