Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup water
Heat until chocolate melts.
Add 2/3 cups sugar. Bring to a boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
Combine:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
Beat well. Add
1 egg
Beat two minutes.

Directions:

Pour 1/4 of chocolate mixture into 9 inch deep dish unbaked pie crust. Pour all of the floor mixture in next. Pour remaining chocolate mixture on top of flour mixture. Bake at 350º for 50 - 60 minutes.

Serves 6-8
