2 lb hamburger
2 eggs
salt
pepper
8 oz tomato sauce
2-3 cups rolled oats
2-1/2 c ketchup
2-1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp chili powder
1/2 cup salt pork liquor (water from boiling 3-4 strips of bacon)
3/4 cup sugar
6-8 cloves garlic, whole
1 tbsp minced onion
1-1/4 to 1-1/2 cups red wine vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
For meatballs mix hamburger, eggs, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and rolled oats together, form into large meatballs. Place in casserole dish or pan with tall sides.
For sauce mix ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt pork liquor, sugar, garlic, onion, red wine vinegar together in saucepan. Bring to boil. Remove garlic. Pour over meatballs. Bake 1 hour 15 minutes at 350° or until done. Extra sauce can be frozen in a freezer bag. Extra meatballs can be frozen raw (with or without sauce) or after baking.
