1 lg. can pineapple chunks, 2 c. miniature marshmallows, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp flour, 1/2 tbsp white vinegar, 1 beaten egg, 2 1/2 c. diced unpeeled apples, 1 1/2 c. chopped Spanish peanuts or walnuts, 8 oz. Cool Whip.

Drain pineapple and save juice. Combine marshmallows with pineapple and chill overnight. In a saucepan, combine juice, sugar, flour, vinegar and egg. Cook on low until it starts to thicken. Chill overnight also. Next day, in large bowl mix Cool Whip and sauce. Add apples and nuts and refrigerate.
