Crust:
1 c sifted flour
1/4 c sugar
1 t grated lemon peel
1/2 c butter
1 slightly beaten egg yolk
1/4 t vanilla
Filling:
3 (8-oz) pkg. cream cheese
5 whole eggs
1 c sugar
1 1/2 t vanilla
Topping:
1 pt sour cream
1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
To make crust, combine flour, sugar and lemon peel. Cut in butter. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Put 1/3 of dough on bottom of ungreased 9-in spring form pan (with sides removed), using fingers to press dough evenly. Bake at 400 for 6 mins. Cool. Attach sides of pan to bottom and pat remaining dough evenly around sides. Set aside.
Beat cream cheese with mixer until soft. Add whole eggs, one at a time. Add sugar & vanilla; blend.
Pour into crust; bake at 325 for 1 hour.
Remove from oven, spread with topping, and return to oven to bake for 5 more mins.
Chill.
