Cocktail Meatballs Recipe

Group I
3 lbs ground beef
3 eggs
1 cup finely chopped saltines
1 tablespoon salt
freshly ground pepper

Group II
4 cups chili sauce
1 cup sugar
6 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
˝ cup cider vinegar

Combine all ingredients in group I; form into 1 inch balls and brown. In saucepan, combine ingredients in group II. When warm and bubbling, remove from stove and pour over meat balls which have been placed in 2 quart casserole. Bake covered in 300 oven for 1 hour. Serves 12 easily.
Note: these improve the longer they’re in the sauce and freeze well.
