1 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg
3 c. miniature marshmallows

Filling
2/3 c. white corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. 12 oz. peanut butter chips
2 c.crisp rice cereal
2 c. salted peanuts

Directions:

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, butter, vanilla, and egg. Press into bottom of 9x13 pan. Bake 350º 12-15 minutes until lightly brown. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven and bake for 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows begin to puff. Cool while preparing filling. To make filling, beat corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and peanut butter chips in pan over low heat, or in top of double boiler over the hot water. Heat until melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and peanuts. Spoon over marshmallows. Spread evenly with back of spoon. Chill. Cut into squares.
