1 stick of butter or oleo
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbls. sour milk - if none on hand you can use mix: (1 1/2 Tbls. milk and 1/2 Tbls. vinegar)
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups chopped apples

2 Tbls flour, 2 Tbls. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon
just sprinkle brown sugar on top (I like this the best)

Mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and sour milk. Mix well. Add rest of ingredients. Put in greased bread pan.Bake at 350 until tooth pick comes out clean.
