1 can (29 oz.) pears
1 pkg. (6 oz.) strawberry gelatin
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, cubed
1 carton (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Mandarin oranges

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pears, reserving juice. Chop pears and set aside. Add water to the juice to measure 3 cups. Place in a saucepan and bring to boil. Transfer to a large bowl. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Whisk in cream cheese until smooth. Refrigerate until slightly thickened. Whisk in whipped topping until smooth. Add chopped pears. Pour into a 13"X9" dish. Cover and refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares. Garnish with a mandarin orange segment if desired.
