1 C RAISINS
1 C WATER
3 EGG YOLKS
3/4 C SUGAR
1/2 TSP SALT
1 C SOUR CREAM
2 T FLOUR
1 TSP VANILLA

Directions:
Directions:
COMBINE RAISINS AND WATER; BRING TO A BOIL. BEAT EGG YOLK, SUGAR, SALT, FLOUR, VANILLA AND SOUR CREAM; ADD TO RAISINS AND WATER. COOK UNTIL THICK. REMOVE FROM HEAT. ADD 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA. STIR WELL. PUT INTO A BAKED PIE SHELL. TOP WITH MERINGUE OR WHIPPED CREAM.
