2 c oatmeal, cooked
1 1/2 c brown sugar
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c shortening
3 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c chopped nuts, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Cook oatmeal the directions on box. Mix brown sugar, sugar and shortening. Add eggs and mix well. Add oatmeal. sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Add to oatmeal mixture and mix well. Mix in nuts. Bake at 350º.
