Momma's Chili Recipe

1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 tbsp. Momma's Seasoning
13 3/4 chicken broth
14 1/2oz. chunky tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet over medium high heat, heat oil . Add beef and cook stirring to break up until well browned. Skim off any fat. Stir in Momma's Seasoning Mix and heat one minute stirring occasionally. Add chicken broth and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered, until flavors are blended and chili is slightly thickened, about 45 minutes. Serve with shredded cheddar cheese. if desired.

Momma's Seasoning Mix
1/4 cup chili powder
2 tbsp. cumin
2 tbsp. instant minced onion
1 tbsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dried cilantro
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground red pepper
1/2 tsp. crushed thyme
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Combine all ingredients until mixed, store in an air tight container.Use in preparing chili, soups and stew or as a rub for meats. Makes about 1/2 cup.
