Hamburger Stroganoff with Poppy Seed Noodles Recipe

cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
cup butter
1 lb ground beef
2 Tbsp flour
1tsp salt
tsp pepper
1 Lb mushrooms or 1 can (8oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 can (101/2 oz) cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup sour cream
Parsley to taste

Saute onion & garlic in butter over medium heat. Stir in meat and brown. I drain off any grease at this time , if there is a lot. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and mushrooms. Cook 5 mins. Stir in soup. Simmer uncovered 10 min. Stir in sour cream. Heat through. Garnish with parsley . Serve with poppy seed noodles

Poppy Seed Noodles:

Cook 6 oz. noodles,( about 2 cups) in large pot of boiling salted water. ( add 2 to 3 tsp salt to the water). Cook - Drain Add 4 Tbsp butter and 2 tsp poppy seeds. Stir gently
