1-1/2 cups hot water
2 tbsp corn syrup
1 tsp rapid-rise yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 to 2-1/2 cups flour
1 can refried beans, warmed and stirred for consistency
1 8-oz can tomato sauce with oregano and garlic added
1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
grated cheese–any combination
Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Place in medium- bowl, hot water, corn syrup, yeast. Mix and let yeast rise. Add salt vegetable oil and flour to yeast mixture. Stir with a fork, adding flour in small amounts until dough just barely sticky. Place on greased cookie sheet or pizza pan. Flour hands and gently spread dough evenly over pan. Layer in this order over dough: beans, tomato sauce, ground beef, cheese and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole (optional) and slice olives (optional).
