1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp butter
4 cups coarsely cabbage
1 can undrained tomatoes, chopped
2 tsp beef bouillon granules
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp white pepper

Saute pepper, onion and celery in butter. Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Use diced tomatoes if you want and I like to jazz mine up sometimes with seasoned stewed tomatoes.
