Grilled Steak & Portobello Fajitas Recipe

2 onions, halved & sliced
1 1/2 lbs. skirt steak
3 lrg. portobello mushrooms

Mushroom Marinade:

Juice of 1 lime
1/4 c. olive oil
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. ground cumin

Steak Marinade:

1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. minced onion
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. chopped cilantro
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt

Marinate mushrooms and steak in their own marinades for 1 hr. Grill steak 4 to 5 min. per side. Grill mushrooms 3 to 4 min. per side. Use a skillet with grill ridges or a grill basket to grill the onion slices - 3 to 4 min. per side (or shake grill basket).

Slice steak and portobello mushrooms thinly & toss with the onions. Serve with warm flour tortillas, salsa fresca, hot sauce, guacamole, & sour cream. Each person can assemble their own fajitas as desired.
