2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 dash cinnamon

Grease 13 x 9 pan, set aside. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt, set aside. In medium saucepan, combine butter, cocoa and water. Bring mixture just to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add to dry mixture and beat with mixer, til thoroughly combined. Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Beat for 1 minute (batter will be thin). Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes or til toothpick comes out clean.

Frosting:
In medium saucepan combine 1/2 cup butter, 4 tbsp. cocoa, and 6 tbsp. buttermilk. Bring to boiling. Remove from heat. Add 1 box sifted powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat til smooth (I just beat it with a spoon). Stir in 1 cup chopped pecans.
