6 small potatoes, peeled and cubed
6 carrots, peeled and sliced in ¼ inch thick coins
1 onion, peeled and chopped
6 c beef broth (6 c water + 6 bouillon cubes)
1 can cut green beans, drained
1 c frozen corn (or 1 can corn, drained)
1 can tomato soup (don't add more water)
1 c chopped red cabbage, optional
1 lb. seasoned ground beef, browned and drained
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Bring water to boil, add bouillon, potatoes, onion, cabbage, and carrots. Cook until vegetables are tender. Brown 1 lb. ground beef (I like to season it with 1 clove garlic and 1 tsp. Lawry's season salt), drain off fat and add beef to soup. Add tomato soup, corn and green beans. Heat through. Note - you can substitute the carrot slices for 2 c baby carrots cut into fourths
