2/3 cup dried bread crumbs
1- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1-1/2 lb. ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup grated onion
1 tsp. salt (or less)
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sage
Sauce: 3 T.brown sugar
1/4 cup catsup
1/4/ tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. dry mustard

Heat oven to 350º. Soak bread in tomato sauce. Add eggs and seasonings. Mix with meat and form into loaf. Top with sauce and bake for 45 - 60 minutes.
