2 c. basmati rice
4 pieces chicken
1 c. mixed vetetables like cauliflower, potato, carrot, french beans, etc.
3 onions (thinly sliced)
2 green chilies (thinly sliced)
salt to taste
1 tsp. red chili powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. caraway seeds
4 cloves
1/2 t black pepper powder
4 tomato
1/2 c yogurt (curd)
4 tsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
3 tsp. dry fruits (cashew nuts, raisin)

1. Wash rice well before cooking.Then take rice with 3-3/4 cup water and a little salt added to it and 2 tbsp of dry fruits.Cook it in pressure cooker (wait for one whistle and then turn off the gas). You can also cook it in a pan.

2. Cut all the chicken vegetables into small thin pieces and sauté each one of it separately in oil.

3. Then sauté mustard seeds, green chili, cinnamon and caraway seeds powder, cloves, black pepper powder altogether for about half minute and then add onions. Sauté till the color of onion changes to pink.

4. Add salt and red chili powder and stir.

5. Add fine chopped tomatoes and sauté till they are totally cooked

6. Add yogurt and stir well. Heat it for about 10 seconds.

7. Add every thing together

8. Cook for about 3 minutes.
