1 pkg German choc. cake mix 16 oz caramels 1 c chocolate chips 3/4 c. butter 1 c pecans 1/2 c evaporated milk
Mix cake mix as directed on pkg. pour 1/2 batter in to greased & floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 18 min. While cake bakes melt caramel's, milk, & butter. Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle nuts & choc chips over caramel mixture. Top with remaining cake batter & bake for 20 minutes at 350º. Serve with whip cream or ice cream.
