8 eggs
4 c flour (all purpose)
1 1/2 heaping T salt
2 1/4 c grated Gruyere cheese
NOTE: YOU NEED A POPOVER PAN

Directions:
Directions:
Place the popover pan in the oven and heat the pan and the oven to 350º. Warm the milk (whole) on the stove and set aside. Whisk the eggs until frothy and then slowly whisk the milk - do not let it cook the eggs! Set aside.Sift the flour with the salt. Slowly add this dry mixture and gently combine until mostly smooth. Once combined, remove the pan from the oven and spray with Pam. Wile the butter is still warm, fill each popover cup until it is 3/4 of the way full. Top each popover with approx. 2 1/2 T grated cheese. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes, rotating pan at half way. Remove and serve immediately.
