6 - 8 ears Corn
Thickening (2- 4 T. flour, mix well in cup of water or milk)
1 T. Seasoning (fatback/ bacon grease, or butter)
Salt and pepper to taste.

Directions:
Cut corn off of cob into pot. Scrap cob. Add enough water to cover, cook on med-low heat for 15 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and seasoning. Take off burner and stir in thickening a little at a time until corn reaches desired thickness. Place back on burner on low heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. While simmering, check to make sure consistency is what you want. Add more thickening to thicken or water to thin.
