5-1/2 c. sweet potatoes or yams, cooked (& peeled if desired)
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 T. vanilla
1 stick butter/margarine
3/4 stick butter/margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. rice krispies
1/2 c. crushed pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Whip sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla and 1stick butter like mashed potatoes. Pour into greased pan. Bake 1 hour at 400º, uncovered. For topping mix 3/4 stick butter and brown sugar over heat, stir until lumps are gone. Mix together rice krispies and crushed pecans. Mix into the butter and brown sugar mixture. When potatoes are baked, add topping and bake for 10 more minutes, uncovered. Cool.
