1 c. shortening
2 1/4c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts of your choice
2 eggs
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix dry and wet ingredients separately and then together. Roll into 1-2 inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Cook at 325 degrees for 10 minutes.
