1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1-13 oz. can evaporated milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

1) In a small skillet, heat 1/2 cup of sugar over medium heat until sugar melts and turns golden brown- quickly pour it into 4- 6 oz. Pyrex ramekins, tilt to coat sides.
2) Mix the rest of the ingredients with a whisk and pour evenly into the ramekins.
3) Set the ramekins in a baking pan and fill pan with 1 inch of water.
4) Bake uncovered for 50 minutes, then chill before serving.
5) Can be turned out onto serving plates to serve.
