Oxtail or any other beef with bones
1/2 c barley
1/2 c chopped celery
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped carrot
3 beef bouillon
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 large can chopped tomatoes
beef broth
salt to taste

Put oxtail in large pot and cover with beef broth.
Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer
for 6 hours.

This was Grandpa's favorite soup. It was passed
down from his Mother to Nana who made it
quite often. The meat is taken out of the soup and served separately with horseradish.
