Chocolate cake mix
Bag of soft caramels
1/2 c. milk
1 stick of margarine
Chocolate chips
Nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix chocolate cake mix according to box directions. Pour half of the cake batter into a 9x13 pan (greased and floured). Bake for 15 minutes. Melt the bag of soft caramel in the microwave and gradually add milk and margarine until mixture is well blended and smooth. Pour the melted caramel mixture over the baked cake-spread evenly. Next, sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over the caramel. Pour the rest of the cake batter on top of the caramel evenly. Cook for 20 minutes at 350º.
