3-8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
8 oz, sour cream
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
5 eggs

Directions:
Grease & flour pan 9" pie pan. Heat oven to 300°. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add one egg at a time. Bake 1 hour. Remove. Mix icing and put on top of cheese cake. Bake 5 minutes more.

This recipe really does not need any crust. It was served regularly at the 42nd St Cafe and was described by travelers as the "Best in the World!" You may add a little fruit topping if you like or just serve plain. Must try this!
