1 Package - 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 Package - 6 ounces chocolate chips

CUPCAKES
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup oil
1 cup water
1 tablespoon white vinegar

Directions:

For the topping, mix together cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and set aside.
To make cupcakes, sift together flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and the cocoa. Add vanilla, oil, water and the vinegar. Beat well. Then fill cupcake cups, lined with paper holders, half full. Top each with 1 tablespoon of cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350º for 30 - 35 minutes.

These need no frosting. They are great for lunches because you don't have to worry about frosting getting everywhere. So moist!
