Desired amount of okra
Wondra Instant flour
Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Wash the okra and cut into 1/2" pieces
Coat the okra in the flour
In an electric skillet, melt butter so that the bottom is evenly coated.
Heat the butter to a slightly higher temperature and add your okra.
Brown the okra until dark brown, turning often and added butter as needed.

When I make it the okra is blackened a little. I add a lot of butter during the cooking time. The okra cooks down quite a bit. This is not a low fat way to prepare the pods.
