Crust:

1/2 c. Shortening
1 c. White sugar
1 egg, well beaten
2 c. Sifted flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 TBSP Milk
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Almond flavoring

Base:

1 - 8 oz pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. Sugar

Fruit:

Orange sections, pineapple, green or red seedless grapes, kiwi, peaches, cherries, strawberries

Sauce:

3/4 c. Water
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Orange juice
1/4 c. Lemon juice
3 TBSP Corn Starch
Dash of salt

Crust:

Cream shortening, gradually beat in sugar. Add beaten egg. Add sifted dry ingredients, alternating with milk and flavoring. Press into pizza pans by hand. Bake at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Let cool.

Base:

Mix cream cheese and sugar and spread onto crusts.

Arrange fruit on cream bases.

Sauce: (Makes enough for 4 pizzas. Cut this in half for 2 pizzas.)

Mix all ingredients together. Cook until thickened. Let cool. Pour over top of fruit.

Makes two pizzas.
