Cream Cheese Pastry:

1/2 c. Butter or margarine, softened
4 oz. Cream cheese, softened
1 c. All purpose flour

Filling:

1 TBSP Butter or margarine
1 c. Finely chopped onion
1 1/2 c. Finely chopped mushrooms

1 TBSP All purpose flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
1/8 tsp. Thyme
1/8 tsp. Sage
1/3 c. Sour Cream

Pastry:

Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Work in flour. Roll out and cut in rounds.

Filling:

Melt butter in frying pan. Add onion and mushrooms. Saute until onion is clear and soft.

Stir in flour, salt, pepper, sage and thyme. Mix in sour cream. Stir until thickened. Cool quite well. Fill dough rounds as you would perogies and place on cookie sheets and bake at 350º oven for about 20 minutes.
