6 lb. ground beef
6 shredded cloves of garlic
3 large chopped onions
1 tsp ground pepper
salt to taste



For meatballs add:

4 raw eggs
2 cups oatmeal

Hamburger Mix: Scramble fry 1/3 of the ground beef at a time, drain and place in a Dutch Oven. When all of the beef is browned, stir fry garlic with onion and spices. Mix all ingredients in the Dutch Oven. Spoon into 2 cup or 3 cup containers, seal, date and freeze. Defrost and use in any recipe that calls for browned ground beef... Freezer Meatball Mix:
Use the same ingredients but mix raw in a large bowl, add 4 raw eggs, and 2 cups oatmeal.
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Once thoroughly mixed, form into meatballs (1-2 inches in diameter). Arrange on cookie sheets and bake in the oven until cooked. 20-35 minutes depending on the size.
Let cool, place desired number in freezer bags
Use in your favourite recipes that call for meatballs, Spaghetti with Meatballs, Swedish Meatballs, Sweet and Sour Meatballs etc.
