1 white or yellow cake mix
filling:
16oz. sour cream
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
1c Coconut
Frosting:
1-12 oz carton cool whip©
2c coconut

Directions:
Directions:
mix and bake cake according to package
split each layer horizontally so you have 4 thin layers (you can use dental floss for this)

Filling: combine all ingredients, and use about 1/3 filling between each layer

Frosting
Frost cake with cool whip, sprinkle top and sides with coconut (you can add food dye to coconut for seasonal cakes)

Seal in a cake keeper and refrigerate for three days
