1 lb butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
5 cups flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 lb white raisins
1/2 lb candied cherries
1 cup coconut
1/4 cup crushed pineapple drained
1 cup walnut meat
1 cup sherry or port wine

Mix everything. Pour into 2 loaf pans or 2 10 inch tube pans. Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 300º
