6 oz spaghetti
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 well-beaten eggs
1 cup Ricotta cheese, optional
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped, optional
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 (8 oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain. This should make about 3 cups. Stir butter into hot spaghetti. Then stir in beaten eggs and Parmesan cheese. Form spaghetti mixture into a "crust" in a buttered 10" pie plate. Spread Ricotta cheese (if using) over top of spaghetti crust.
Brown hamburger, onion, and green pepper until vegetables are tender and meat is browned. Drain. Stir in undrained crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, and garlic powder. Heat through. Pour meat mixture into spaghetti crust. Bake uncovered at 350º for 20 minutes. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
