1 c. grits
salt & pepper
1/4 c. butter
2 c. sharp cheese
1 lb. shrimp
1 lb. smoke sausage
6 slices of bacon cut to bits
4 t. lemon juice
2 T. parsley
1 clove of garlic
1 c. green onion

In pot bring 4 c. of water to boil. Add grits, salt & pepper, stir with whisk. Reduce heat & cook grits. Remove from heat, stir in butter & cheese. Keep grits covered.

In big frying pan, fry bacon bits and drain on paper towel. Rinse shrimp & pat dry. Add smoked sausage & shrimp to bacon grease & cook. Add lemon juice, garlic & parsley. Remove frying pan from heat.

Garnish with bacon bits & green onion.
