Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef 2 tsp. italian seasoning 1 tsp. garlic powder salt and pepper to taste 2 T. olive oil 1 can crescent rolls 1 jar pizza sauce 1/2 medium onion, diced 3 T. diced green pepper 3 T. diced red pepper 8 oz. can mushrooms (optional) 12 sliced black olives (optional) 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:Brown hamburger with seasonings ( I do this ahead of time at home). Oil dutch oven ( I line mine with non-stick foil). Place cresent rolls on bottom and flatten out for crust. Spoon pizza sauce over crust and top with hamburger, onion, olives, peppers and mushrooms and cheeses. Cover and bake using 8-10 charcoal briquettes on the bottom of the dutch oven and 16-18 briquettes on the top for 30 min. or until crust is browned and cheese is bubbly.© |
