4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
2 cups sugar
2 cups buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Puree strawberries and sugar in food processor or blender. Add buttermilk and blend well
Pour mixture into 9x12 inch baking dish and freeze for 1 hour. (Center will be mushy)
Transfer mixture to processor or blender and whip again.
Return to freezer for at least 4 additional hours
Serve in pretty stemmed glasses or small bowls
