12 sliced white bread
3/4 pound cheese slices (½ cheddar and ½ swiss)
1 (10 oz) package frozen broccoli, cooked and drained
2 cups diced cooked ham.
6 eggs, slightly beaten
3 1/2 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp instant minced onion
1/4 tsp dry mustard powder

Directions:
Use doughnut cutter (or 2 sizes of biscuit cutters), cut 12 shapes from bread. Save doughnut shapes and “holes”. Put scraps left from bread into a 9 x 13" baking dish, place cheese on top, then broccoli, then ham, then doughnut and holes shapes on top. Combine eggs, milk, salt, onion and mustard. Pour over top of all. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 325º. Bake uncovered 55 minutes or more. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Makes 12 servings.
