1 lb ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (28 oz) can chopped tomatoes
1 (17 oz) can corn, drained
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp chili powder

Crust:
3/4 cup cornmeal
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups cold water
1/2 tsp chilil powder
1 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese

salsa

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef, onion, and pepper; drain. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 20 minutes. Add 1 cup cheese, stir to melt. Combine crust ingredients (except butter) in medium saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Spread half of crust in bottom of 13 x 9 pan. Spread beef filling next. Spoon on remaining crust. Bake at 350º for 35-45 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and serve with sour cream and salsa. Serves 6.
