¼ lb bacon, diced
¼ cup butter
2 medium onions, diced
2 large carrots, pared and diced
2 celery stalks, diced
¼ cup flour
2 cups little neck clams, chopped
3 large potatoes, diced
1 cup clam nectar
2 cups milk
1 tsp salt
½ tsp white pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot, fry bacon.

Add the butter, cook until it melts. Add the onions, carrots, celery, sauté until tender.

Add the flour, cook for two minutes until browning.

Add the remaining ingredients, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Serve very hot.
