3lb Boneless Chuck Roast
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can Golden Mushroom Soup
1 Dried Onion Soup Packet

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and pepper roast to taste and sear both sides in a hot frying pan, remove from heat. In a bowl combine both cans of soup and soup packet and mix well. Layer 1/2 the soup mixture in the bottom of a crock pot, add the roast, and layer the remaining soup mixture on top of roast. cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

I use low salt soups. This makes a nice gravy for potaoes. This was one of Dad's camping meals,by wrapping in heavy duty foil and letting it sit by the fire all day, hence the name. This works great in a crock pot.
