5 lbs hamburger
3 pt. dry onions soaked
1 gallon crushed tomatoes
1 gallon kidney beans
1/2 gallon ketchup
5 T chili powder
2 T garlic powder
2 T salt
5T pepper
1/4 bottle red hot sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger and onions. Put into a large thick pot if possible. This will help to prevent sticking. Add remaining ingredients. Cook on low heat all day. STIR EVERY TIME YOU WALK BY! It will stick easily and scorch the bottom. if it gets too thick, thin with water. Freezes well.

This recipe was used by our church at the South Alabama State Fair and there was always a line waiting! Karen even took the recipe to Spain and it was a huge hit there at all of the football games. It is great served over Fritos with a dab of sour cream and cheese sprinkled on top. Called Frito Pie!
